Overview
The Early Childhood Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Spectrum Early Childhood program within the Cooperative. The Program Coordinator will monitor program spending, ensure classrooms are adhering to the Creative Curriculum requirements along with meeting grant expectations. The individual will supervise and evaluate Early Childhood staff and provide quality professional development. This role will organize and facilitate early childhood screenings, coordinate meetings and collaborate with early intervention to facilitate the transition process.
The program is located within three districts, Thomasboro Grade School, St. Joseph Elementary and Unity East Elementary. The position requires regular travel between the locations.
- Serve as the Local Education Agency (LEA) during all IEP meetings and assist with IEP development and compliance.
- Supervise and evaluate Early Childhood staff and provide quality professional development.
- Monitor program spending and ensure adherence to Creative Curriculum requirements and grant expectations.
- Organize and facilitate early childhood screenings, coordinate meetings, and collaborate with early intervention to facilitate the transition process.
- Coordinate staffing needs, including substitute coverage and provide classroom support.
- LBS I or related licensure
- Early Childhood Experience
- Administrative Licensure Preferred
- Minimum $65,000
- Salary negotiable based on experience
- Length of contract: 210 days
