We are seeking a designer with a passion for and track record of creating exceptional user experiences. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross‑functional peers and business owners to build the future of Yahoo Weather on web. You will be responsible for designing and leading the execution of high‑quality, user‑centered design solutions that balance business goals and user needs.

• Collaborate with product management and engineering to design and deliver features for Yahoo Weather on desktop and mobile web
• Work across teams to deliver new integrations of weather data and content across Yahoo product surfaces such as Home, Search, Newsletters, Mail, and partner portals
• Design the end‑to‑end user experiences for products, where you will be driving and/or collaborating with other designers on the research, ideation, prototyping, and validation of those experiences
• Partner closely with product and engineering teams to drive innovation, push the boundaries of what's possible, and maintain a high quality bar
• Champion user‑centered design principles and ensure designs are grounded in user insights, data, and are accessible to the largest audience possible
• Build relationships across the organization and contribute to evolving and improving design systems

• 4+ years of experience in user‑centered experience design
• A portfolio of work that demonstrates your expertise in designing successful data‑dense experiences
• A solid understanding of user‑centered design principles and methodologies
• Practical experience working across desktop and mobile web, with an emphasis on responsive design. Experience using and contributing to a design system is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner with designers across an organization
• A track record of delivering high‑quality, design solutions that users love
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma or Framer
• Has worked with or currently integrates AI design tools into their process
