Overview

Shift Lead - 005108 role at Banfield Pet Hospital.

• Assist and support hospital leadership in developing an efficient, productive team that provides the highest quality care and service to the most pets and clients.
• Follow Banfield protocols and practices, focusing the team to achieve practice priorities while building our culture and brand.
• Provide day-to-day supervision of the team when called upon, ensuring quality medical care, exceptional client service, associate engagement and maximum productivity.
• Help create an environment where a team can deliver quality, efficient and effective veterinary care to pets and foster an environment that engages associates, where they do their best and feel part of the team.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional client service (lead by example) to include client education about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care, pet health needs, hospital services, marketing campaigns, and other related information; effectively resolve client issues.
• Assist in effectively scheduling associates to meet client needs, while proactively planning time off and CE scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with all practice policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to Banfield dress and grooming guidelines.

• Belief in preventive care as essential for a long and healthy life for pets.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client and pet experiences.
• Availability to work weekend and evening shifts.
• Comfort working in an environment with loud noise and strong smells.
• Age 18 years or older.
• Minimum of two years of veterinary hospital experience.
