Forklift Operator

Nitterhouse Masonry Products is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team at our Guilford Springs block plant. This full-time position offers a consistent schedule with opportunities for overtime and the chance to be part of a respected local manufacturer.

Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Overtime on Fridays as needed

Position Overview:
As a Forklift Operator, your primary responsibility will be the safe and efficient movement of products and materials throughout the plant. You will play a key role in maintaining operational flow while upholding our high standards for safety and quality.

Key responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts to move products and materials throughout the plant and yard
• Pick up products directly from the production line and palletize them efficiently
• Stage and organize pallets for storage, shipping, or further processing
• Transport and store finished products in designated yard locations
• Identify and report damaged products, shortages, or quality issues
• Perform routine equipment checks and notify supervision of any maintenance needs
• Follow all company safety rules and maintain a safe working environment
• Keep work areas, forklifts, and yard spaces clean and organized
