Network Security Engineer

To strengthen our Enterprise Network team, which is responsible for the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of all security infrastructures, we are looking for an independent and open personality.

• Network Security Professional: You will be responsible for the planning, operation and further development of network security solutions, especially with a focus on Palo Alto
• Migration expert: You will perform migrations from legacy systems to the target architecture
• Advisor: You advise and support projects and architectures both internally and group-wide and with customers
• Infrastructure Specialist: You will operate and manage the network security infrastructure, including Skyhigh web proxy, F5 load balancer with WAF, OnPrem and cloud-based firewalls (Palo Alto), as well as legacy firewalls (CheckPoint and Forcepoint)
• Problem solver: You analyze and resolve faults in the network security infrastructure

• Experience: Several years of IT professional experience and the ability to work with firewalls, proxies and VPN. In addition, you have extensive experience with Palo Alto NGFW, certification is desirable
• Education: Further training in the field of networking with a focus on security (e.g. CCNP Enterprise or comparable) is an advantage
• Know-how: Broad knowledge, not only in the network area with Cisco (Data Center - ACI, LAN, WLAN & Core)
• Personality: Problem‑solving‑oriented, pragmatic person with a pronounced collaborative and customer‑oriented way of working and a good dose of humor
