As a Sales Manager - Business Sales, you will cultivate a high-performing sales environment, strategically manage client relationships, and execute sales initiatives that set the standard for excellence. At 100% of your sales target, annual earnings typically range from $159,600 – $207,400. Commission earnings are capped at 500% of target, allowing for an annual earning potential of $320,000 or more for high achievers. What you’ll do:

Sales employees will concentrate on acquiring new business and conducting customer visits in the field. When not in the field, they are expected to collaborate with their team from their assigned office location, if available.

  • Lead and Develop Sales Teams: Direct, mentor, and support a team of sales professionals to drive peak performance and skill development.
  • Drive Strategic Sales Initiatives: Design and implement effective sales strategies to generate new business, expand client accounts, and achieve revenue goals.
  • Manage Key Client Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with high-value clients, resolve complex issues, and participate in critical negotiations to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Optimize Territory Management: Allocate sales territories and resources to ensure optimal coverage and maximize business opportunities.
  • Oversee Team Operations: Execute sales plans, assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and guide hiring and promotional decisions to build a high-performing team.
What you’ll need:
  • Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing sales teams to achieve ambitious targets.
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Expertise in crafting and executing impactful sales strategies in a competitive environment.
  • Relationship Management: Advanced skills in cultivating and sustaining strong client relationships.
  • Analytical Acumen: Strong ability to assess team performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and solve complex problems.
  • Territory and Resource Management: Experience managing sales territories and aligning resources to drive optimal results.
What you’ll bring:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) preferred.
  • Sales Expertise: 8+ years of progressive sales experience, with a focus on business-to-business sales.
  • Business Acumen: In-depth knowledge of sales operations, product offerings, and market dynamics.
