Base Pay Range
$20.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Job Description- Provide fast, friendly customer service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance.
- Learn about products using tools and provide information to customers in order to sell an entire project.
- Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer transaction in your department.
- Handle basics in adjacent departments as needed.
- Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop‑able, and safe.
- Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies, completing required safety training, immediately correcting hazards, and reporting unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty.
- Work cooperatively with the Department Supervisor and other associates, as well as with other departments.
- Specific store departments may include Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental.
- Position types may include Department Sales, Lead Generator, Pro Account Sales, Sales Specialist, Special Services, and Customer Order Specialist.
