We are looking for experienced Quality Assurance Techs for a great company in the City of Cerritos!
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
Hours:
1:30pm- 10pm
Location:
Cerritos, CA
Pay: $20.25
The Quality Assurance Technician inspects raw materials, work in process and finished goods to ensure compliance with product specifications by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following;
* Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures. Performing routine inspections and quality tests.
Identifying and resolving workflow and production issues.
Developing quality standards, conducting tests, and identifying issues in the production of our products or services.
Ensure that standards and safety regulations are observed.
Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports.
Make recommendations for improvement.
Create training materials and operating manuals. Exhibits thoroughness and consistency when conducting quality control, testing, and audits. Is proactive in non-conformance prevention and maintains a desire to help the organization to consistently achieve high quality and service expectations.
The overall job performance meets the satisfaction of the Quality Control Supervisor/Management Representative.
Assists with nonconformance Return Material Authorization (RMA) investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assists in updating RMAs in the ERP system when requested by a manager.
Attends scheduled meetings and training sessions as needed to support quality control activities and employee development.
Conducts customer-specific, routine quality control and testing as identified on production tickets and checklists.
Conducts testing and collects production performance data as needed in support of nonroutine quality control checks.
