Job Description
Position:
Open Systems Applications Developer
Duration: 6+ Month Contract
Responsibilities and Qualifications- ANSI C experience
- Shel script, PERL and AWK, a plus
- IBM Websphere MQ, a plus
- Airline Industry experience, a plus
- Ability to take on periodic (e.g. once every 5-7 weeks) 24x7 on-call responsibilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to effectively interact with teams supporting critical, large-scale applications on other platforms
- Strong sense of dedication and responsibility to the Open Systems team and the applications it supports
- Possess (over time) a comprehensive understanding of the Open Systems and Travel Security related applications
- Serve as a focal point for functional or technical issues involving the Open Systems applications
- Create and/or review project estimates, requirements documentation, technical design documentation, test plans and implementation plans
