Open Systems Applications Developer

Duration: 6+ Month Contract

Job Description:

• ANSI C experience
• Shel script, PERL and AWK, a plus
• IBM Websphere MQ, a plus
• Airline Industry experience, a plus
• Ability to take on periodic (e.g. once every 5-7 weeks) 24x7 on-call responsibilities
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to effectively interact with teams supporting critical, large-scale applications on other platforms
• Strong sense of dedication and responsibility to the Open Systems team and the applications is supports
• Possess (over time) a comprehensive understanding of the Open Systems and Travel Security related applications.
• Serve as a focal point for functional or technical issues involving the Open Systems applications.
• Create and/or review project Estimates, Requirements Documentation, Technical Design Documentation, Test Plans and Implementation Plans.
