Delivery Driver

As a Delivery Driver for Omnicare Pharmacy, you will deliver prescription orders and/or products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule in a company‑provided vehicle. Delivery Drivers ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for our patients, demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality. Successful Drivers use a customer‑service mindset to manage pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team’s ability to fill patient prescriptions promptly, safely and accurately.

• Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products, and supplies into long‑term care facilities or patients’ homes
• Load products/materials
• Maintain vehicle and alert for maintenance issues
• Ensure full compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations
• Maintain highest professional and ethical standards
• Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA to ensure patient confidentiality

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Geographical knowledge of service area
• Flexibility required for nights and weekends
• Current, valid driver’s license in the required state and vehicle category
• Ability to drive for long periods of time
• Customer service orientation

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver

• Sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day
• Sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day
• Lift up to twenty‑five (25) pounds
• Finger dexterity to operate office equipment
• Visual acuity to see and read fine prints
• Must be able to hear normal voice sounds
• May be required to work extended hours as needed

Pay Range: $16.00 - $28.84 per hour (base hourly rate)
