Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee and improve our procurement operations. This role involves sourcing products, negotiating with suppliers, managing imports/exports, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations. You ll work closely with multiple departments to maintain inventory, control costs, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage purchasing of products and materials from global suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and documentation.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers for timely shipments.
  • Forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships.
  • Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and logistics teams to align purchasing goals.
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate procurement records.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of purchasing experience, ideally in import/export.
  • Knowledge of global sourcing, logistics, and trade compliance.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with international suppliers.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with U.S. customs regulations.
  • Multilingual and knowledge of international markets.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
