Senior Tax Accountant and Tax Manager
Location: Cerritos, CA - Onsite
Compensation: $125K-$140K+ base, commensurate with experience

We are seeking experienced tax professionals to join our Cerritos-based public accounting firm. Whether you are an accomplished Senior Tax Accountant or an experienced Tax Manager

About the Roles
Both positions require strong technical expertise in tax preparation and planning, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to client service.
You'll work closely with clients across industries, handling complex tax matters and contributing to our firm's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and exempt organization tax returns, including multi-state filings.
- Review client general ledgers and financial statements; prepare adjusting journal entries for book and tax purposes.
- Provide proactive tax planning and consulting to clients.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
- (Manager-level only) Supervise and mentor Tax Accountants and Associates, review their work, and support their professional development.
Qualifications
- CPA designation required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's in Taxation a plus)
- Minimum 5 years' recent public accounting experience for Sr. Tax Accountant; 8+ years and proven team leadership for Tax Manager
- Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Sr. Tax Accountant: $125K+ base, full benefits
- Tax Manager: $130K-$140K+ base, full benefits
