Job Summary
The FP&A Manager leads financial planning, analysis, and operational efficiency to support overall business performance. This role partners with Operations, Sales, Marketing, and other teams to analyze key business drivers, optimize costs, and ensure alignment with corporate objectives. Key responsibilities include COGS analysis, operational efficiency, sales reporting, pricing and promotion optimization, and advertising ROI. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, skilled in financial modeling, and experienced in driving strategic insights across multiple business functions.
FinancialPlanning & Analysis
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to align on financial targets.
- Develop tools and processes for timely and accurate reporting.
- Monitor financial performance, identify risks/opportunities, and conduct variance analysis.
- Support scenario modeling and financial evaluation of business initiatives.
- Analyze COGS and operational performance to identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with Operations and Procurement to track production costs, labor efficiencies, and supply chain metrics.
- Develop cost allocation models to reflect profitability by product line or business unit.
- Forecast the financial impact of raw material cost trends.
- Maintain sales reporting and KPIs (revenue, volume, profitability).
- Analyze pricing, promotions, and customer data to optimize revenue and profitability.
- Evaluate marketing campaign performance and channel efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Progressive FP&A experience; experience in wine, beverages, manufacturing, or agriculture preferred.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and technical skills.
- Proficiency in sales reporting, pricing, and advertising analysis.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration abilities.
- Strategic thinker with focus on continuous improvement.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
