Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting wine demand, analyzing sales trends, and coordinating with production, sales, and distribution teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and meet customer demand. Your insights will help drive efficiency across the supply chain and support the winery’s growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for all wine products.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and seasonal fluctuations.
- Collaborate with production, sales, and distribution teams to align inventory and production plans with forecasted demand.
- Monitor and report on forecast accuracy and key performance metrics.
- Identify and address potential inventory shortages or excesses proactively.
- Support new product launches with demand planning insights.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for planning processes and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or inventory management (wine or beverage industry preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and demand planning software (e.g., SAP, Net Suite, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
