Auto Electrician

As an Auto Electrician for buses, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain the electrical systems of buses, including wiring, lighting, ignition, and electronic control units, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnosis and Repair:

• Identify and diagnose electrical faults on buses and their chassis.

• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint problems.

• Repair or replace faulty wiring, components, and systems.

Maintenance and Installation:

• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems.

• Install new electrical components and systems.

• Ensure all electrical components are assembled efficiently and properly.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to safety regulations and procedures when working on vehicles.

• Ensure all repairs and installations meet safety standards.

Documentation and Communication:

• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.

• Communicate effectively with mechanics and other staff members.

Supervisory Duties (if applicable):

• Supervise staff to ensure the smooth flow of work.

• Communicate designated staff responsibilities.

• Create auto electrical files for independent reviews.

• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems.

• Education and Experience:
