Position Overview:
The role demands a dynamic individual who will spearhead customer acquisition, orchestrate the intricacies of sales interactions, and ultimately, conclude the successful closure of new customer contracts to optimise revenue generation.
A pivotal attribute for this position lies in an intimate understanding of the products on offer, harnessing this knowledge to highlight the benefits and features to prospective customers whilst considering the customers’ specific needs.
To excel in this sales-focused capacity, the incumbent must have an unwavering commitment to not only meet but exceed predetermined sales targets.

Essential Job Functions:
Revenue Generation:
The paramount duty of this role is to drive revenue and consistently meet predefined sales targets.
Sales Lifecycle Management:
Oversee the complete sales lifecycle from initial prospecting to the closure of contracts.
Demonstration and Sales ‘Pitches’:
Lead product demonstration and sales meetings with prospective customers - both in person and virtually.
Customer-Centric Understanding:
Gain an intimate comprehension of customer needs, challenges and business objectives with the aim of illustrating the manner in which our products align with same.
Opportunity Identification:
Discern opportunities for up- and cross-selling among our existing client base and with engagements with prospective customers.
Negotiation:
Lead customer negotiations involving contracts, pricing and terms with the aim of strategically maximising profitability without compromising customer satisfaction.
Industry Expertise:
Stay current with industry and market trends, assimilating best practices while maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
Management Reporting:
Compile comprehensive reports on sales progress, customer pipelines, areas for improvement, etc. for management purposes.

Minimum Skills, Qualifications & Functional requirements:

• Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

• 3 years’ sales experience with proven track record in a solution-based selling capacity, preferably in a related industry.

• Marketing experience advantageous.

• Experience in a complex environment (solution-matrix) advantageous.

• Sound understanding of the Healthcare industry and/or Healthcare administration highly preferred.

• Strong sales skills and expertise with the ability to close contracts being essential.

• Ability to rapidly learn and comprehend various technical product/s and intimately understand suitable markets.

• Ability to identify potential for growth, sales, cross- and up-selling.

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

• Exceptional presentation skills.

• Ability to build rapport at all levels.

• Confident, energetic, self-motivated ‘go-getter’.

• Presentable, professional appearance.

Travel Required:

• As an External Sales / Account Management functionality, this role entails travel and limited time in the office. Additional domestic travel may be required from time-to-time.

• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license is essential.
