Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 07:00 to 17:00 | Friday: 07:00 to 13:00

Apex Animal Health is seeking a motivated Sales & Product Specialist with 3+ years relevant experience. This role is ideal for a results-driven individual who is passionate about expanding market share and building long-term relationships within the equine and companion animal industries.

• Identify and grow new business opportunities across equine and companion animal segments.
• Maximise sales potential with existing clients and retail partners by driving cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, ensuring full product portfolio penetration and sustainable revenue growth.
• Build and expand relationships with trainers, breeders, veterinarians, retailers, key influencers, and other industry role players.
• Deliver product presentations, training sessions, and technical support to clients and retail partners.
• Represent Apex Animal Health at trade shows and industry events.
• Monitor sales performance against regional targets and provide monthly reports with insights and recommendations.
• Analyse customer trends and competitor activities to help shape sales strategy.
• Serve as the go-to product specialist within your region.

• A BSc Agric (Animal Science) degree, veterinary nursing qualification, or comparable qualification and relevant practical experience.
• Strong understanding of the animal health industry.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Highly motivated, customer-focused, and able to work independently.
• Own reliable transport.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
