Junior IT Administrator

About us

We are a growing group of companies operating across six locations with approximately 50 office-based employees. We are transitioning from outsourced IT support to building our own internal IT department and are looking for a motivated and ambitious Junior IT Administrator to help us establish and grow this function.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of building an IT department from the ground up.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior IT Administrator based in Centurion. We are looking for a hands‑on, proactive individual who is eager to take ownership of day-to-day IT support while helping implement systems, policies, and processes that will form the foundation of our internal IT function.

You will work closely with management to improve our IT infrastructure, security, and support environment.

• Provide first and second-line IT support to ±50 users
• Set up and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices
• Manage user accounts (Microsoft 365 / Active Directory)
• Support networking across multiple office locations
• Maintain asset register and IT documentation
• Assist with backups, cybersecurity, and system monitoring
• Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers where required
• Help develop and implement IT policies and procedures
• Assist in improving overall IT security posture (MFA, endpoint protection, etc.)

• Undergraduate Degree in Information Technology (or related field)
• 1–3 years’ experience in an IT support or junior admin role (preferred)
• Basic networking knowledge (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
