Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Scientist / Data Engineer with strong AI/ML and production data engineering expertise to support advanced analytics, automated decisioning, and enterprise-scale data platforms. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of delivering production-ready machine learning solutions with measurable business impact in financial services, Fin Tech, or telecommunications environments.

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain production-grade AI/ML models (recommendation, propensity, fraud, forecasting)
• Deliver automated decisioning solutions with quantified business impact
• Develop and manage enterprise-scale data engineering pipelines across cloud and on-prem environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile / Dev Ops environments
• Implement and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub or Git Lab
• Support a 'develop once, deploy many' mindset through container repositories
• Translate complex data into clear, executive-level insights and presentations
• Ensure best practices in data governance, scalability, security, and performance

• 5+ years of relevant experience as a Data Scientist and/or Data Engineer
• 4–6+ years of applied data science experience
• 2+ years owning and supporting production AI/ML solutions
• At least 3 years’ experience within non-traditional Fin Tech, Banking, or Financial Services
• Experience delivering AI/ML models within banking, finance, or telecommunications

• AI / Machine Learning for predictive modeling
• Cloud and on-prem infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• CI/CD orchestration and repository management
• Hadoop, Apache Spark and Big Data ecosystems
• Data warehousing, RDBMS, and modern Big Data platforms
• Power BI, Google Data Studio, Elastic Search / Kibana
• Machine learning model deployment and MLOps pipelines

• Minimum 4-year tertiary degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or related field
• Master’s Degree in Data Science, AI/ML, Statistics or related field (preferred)
• MBA or additional Master’s degree (advantageous)
