IT Manager

Hire Resolve's client is looking for an IT Manager to join their team in Centurion, Gauteng. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall IT infrastructure and support services. This includes managing the IT team, coordinating IT projects, ensuring data security and compliance, and providing technical support to staff.

• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems
• Manage and lead the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and systems
• Coordinate IT projects, such as system upgrades or software implementations, to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
• Monitor and optimize network performance, security, and reliability
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to staff members
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts for IT products and services
• Stay informed about new technologies and recommend updates or improvements to existing systems
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Provide regular reports to senior management on the performance of IT systems and services

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in IT management or a related field
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Expertise in network administration, system security, and data backup solutions
• Knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, and other emerging technologies
• Experience with project management and budgeting
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Industry certifications, such as CompTIA Security+ or Cisco Certified Network Associate, are a plus
