We are looking for an experienced Automation Lead / Tech Lead – Automation to define, lead, and scale automation across software development, testing, and deployment processes. This is a senior leadership role combining hands‑on technical expertise

You will own the automation strategy, build robust automation frameworks, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and embed Dev Sec Ops practices across the organization while partnering with development, QA, Dev Ops, and business stakeholders.
Requirements Qualifications- Grade 12
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Automation, Cloud, or Dev Ops certifications (ISTQB, AWS Dev Ops, Microsoft Dev Ops)
- 5–10+ years in software development and/or QA
- 2–3+ years in a leadership or tech lead role
- Proven experience implementing automation strategies at scale
- Automation tools:
Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Rest Assured - Infrastructure as Code:
Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation - Cloud platforms:
AWS, Azure, or GCP - Performance & security testing:
JMeter, Gatling, OWASP ZAP - Microsoft automation tools:
Power Automate, Power Apps
- Define and own the enterprise automation roadmap across development, testing, and release cycles.
- Lead the selection, standardization, and implementation of automation tools and frameworks.
- Establish best practices for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Act as a thought leader driving automation adoption across teams.
- Architect and maintain test automation frameworks (web, mobile, API, performance).
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead infrastructure automation using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation).
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting automation.
- Support performance, load, and security automation initiatives.
- Partner with QA, Dev Ops, and development teams to embed automation into the SDLC.
- Coach and mentor engineers and QA analysts on automation tools and best practices.
- Collaborate with Product and Business teams to align automation with delivery goals.
- Ensure automation frameworks comply with coding, security, and quality standards.
- Continuously evaluate emerging automation technologies.
- Drive metrics‑driven quality engineering (automation coverage, defect leakage, release reliability).
