SAP ABAP Consultant

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP ABAP consultant with strong object-oriented programming skills to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of SAP solutions for our clients, with a focus on customizations and enhancements within the SAP environment.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Lead or participate in the design, development, and implementation of custom SAP solutions, including custom reports, forms, and user interfaces.
• Use object-oriented programming techniques to enhance SAP functionality and improve system performance.
• Work with clients to understand their business requirements and provide recommendations for optimizing their SAP solutions.
• Develop and maintain SAP master data, such as custom tables and structures.
• Create and maintain SAP reports using SAP Query, Report Painter/Report Writer, and SAP Business Intelligence (BI).
• Debug and resolve technical issues within the SAP environment.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance of SAP solutions, including bug fixing, performance tuning, and process improvements.
• Train clients on the use of SAP solutions and provide technical documentation as required.

Qualifications and experience:

• Strong object-oriented programming skills and experience with SAP ABAP.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP development and customizations.
• Knowledge of SAP architecture and integration with other SAP modules.
• Familiarity with SAP development tools and methodologies, including SAP Web Dynpro and SAP UI5.
• Ability to lead or participate in SAP projects from blueprint to go-live and support.
• Good communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage project tasks and deliverables independently.
• Familiarity with the SAP project methodology, including ASAP and Agile.
• Knowledge of Java and Fiori is an advantage.
