Junior UX/UI Developer (6 Month Contract) – Centurion - Hybrid

Role SummaryAs a Junior to Mid UI/UX Designer, you’ll take a hands‑on role in crafting digital experiences that truly matter. You’ll work closely with designers, developers, and product teams to turn ideas into polished interfaces, from research and ideation to final designs. You’ll help improve existing products, design complex interfaces, and enhance both the UI and UX of our offerings. You’ll also support our design ecosystem by documenting concepts, creating cohesive interfaces, and evolving design guides and systems.

- Contribute to solution roadmaps, design, and system architecture.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide application support and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with business units to deliver effective solutions.
- Assist with project support, change management, and process implementation.

- A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Visual Communication Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related fields.
- 2-4 years of experience in UI/UX Design.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX methodologies, user‑centered design, best practices, interface guidelines, design principles, and design processes.
- Experience conducting user research through interviews, usability testing, surveys, etc.
- Ability to analyze research to define user problems, needs, and insights that inform design decisions.
- Familiarity with research methodologies, data analysis, and relevant tools.
- Skilled at creating user journeys, wireframes, polished interface designs, task flows, and understanding information architecture.
- Ability to visualize concepts and interactions by creating and iterating on UI prototypes from insights and feedback.
- Experience working with design tools such as Figma (preferred), Adobe Suite, and related tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
