Systems Engineers; Tier 1

Overview

We are looking for talented IT professionals to join our technical team ther you are starting your journey or are a seasoned industry veteran, we have a place for you in our tiered Systems Engineering structure. We are hiring across the board for Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 engineers who are ready to take ownership of client environments and drive technical excellence.

We are looking for candidates to fill the following distinct tiers based on experience:

• Service Excellence: Maintain high-quality service delivery with a target of 90% ticket timeliness and strict adherence to 98% SLA on response and resolution times.
• Technical Stewardship: Develop a comprehensive understanding of IPT products and services. You will be expected to master the features, capabilities, and technical details of our service catalog.
• System & Agreement Management: Ensure accurate agreement allocations and contribute to up-to-date Quarterly Business Review (Q ) reporting. You will assist in creating action plans to address any shortcomings found during review cycles.
• Environment Housekeeping: Take ownership of client hygiene and compliance. This includes managing Office 365 licenses, maintaining N‑Central agents, ensuring endpoint protection is active, managing Asset CIs, and verifying backups are running as per the client agreement.
• Continuous Development: Actively pursue and attain required certifications as outlined in the IPT Systems Engineer Development Framework.

• Operating Systems: Windows Server & Desktop environments.
• Cloud Services: Microsoft Azure architecture and management.
• Networking: Switching, Routing, Firewalls, and VLANs.
• Identity Management: Active Directory (AD) and Entra  (Azure AD).
• Data Protection: Backup and Storage solutions.
• Security: Endpoint protection and security best practices.
• Monitoring: RMM tools (specifically N‑Central) and alert management.

• Focus: Routine maintenance, first-line support, and basic troubleshooting.
• Goal: Learning the IPT “way,” mastering the basic toolsets, and closing standard tickets efficiently.

• Focus: Complex administration, project implementation, and server-level troubleshooting.
• Goal: Handling escalations from Tier 1, managing client projects, and ensuring system health and stability.

• Focus: High-level solution design, critical escalation handling, and strategic consulting.
• Goal: Acting as the final point of escalation, designing resilient infrastructure, and mentoring junior staff.
