Test Analyst

• Test Analyst required to join Lightstone’s product development team to:
• Analyse user stories, Write, design, and execute manual tests
• Estimate test efforts accurately and coordinate with team members for work activities
• Maintain a well organised test case framework
• Participate in product design to guarantee adherence of test coverage for meeting end user requirements
• Work alongside members of the delivery team to deliver outcomes within given timelines
• Assist the automation test engineer in identifying tests to be automated
• Record test results and report and verify software bug fixes
• Be committed to developing skills (continuous learning) to provide up-to-date solutions

• Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification required
• Qualification in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field preferable
• ISTQB certification advantages

• Strong Manual Testing exposure
• Ability to extract and design test cases from business requirements
• Test case management
• 2-3 years’ experience as a Test Analyst
• Proficient in software test practices
• Awareness of automation principles
• Knowledge of the software testing life cycle

• Demonstratable experience of software test management tools
• Demonstrable experience at test case writing
• Working knowledge of API testing tools

• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Enthusiastic towards delivering quality products
• Have a curious mindset putting the customer first
• Mathematical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
• Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends
• Ability to work alone and within a team
