SUMMARY

A Vacancy exists for a Financial/Billing Clerk in the Technical Division based in Head Office.

The suitable candidate’s main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

POSITION INFO
  • Preparing and sending invoices to customers or clients
  • Verifying billing information such as rates, quantities, and services rendered
  • Entering billing data into accounting or billing systems
  • Processing payments, refunds, and adjustments
  • Monitoring accounts receivable and tracking outstanding balances
  • Following up on overdue payments and sending reminders or statements
  • Resolving billing discrepancies and responding to customer inquiries
  • Maintaining accurate financial and billing records
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
  • Collaborating with accounting, sales, or customer service teams
  • Preparing basic billing reports for management review.
Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills
  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • Finance qualification will be advantageous
Mandatory Qualifications & Certifications
  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • Finance qualification will be advantageous
Technical Competencies
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of SAP (essential)
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Understanding of financial administration and accounting processes
  • Experience with project administration and procurement
Communication & Professional Skills
  • Good command of the English language and high-level professionalism
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
