Role PurposeThe role will support the Institutional Operations Administration team. This role is to handle administrative tasks such as processing transactions, maintaining records and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Requirements Experience and Qualifications- BCom Degree in Finance (Accounting), Business Administration, Investments or related field.
- Financial Market Dip would be advantageous.
- 1 – 2 years' experience in finance industry, preferably in operational environment.
- Excel skills.
- Accurately process and settle a variety of investment transactions, including trades, transfers, and payments.
- Maintain and update records of all transactions and client accounts, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in resolving client inquiries and issues related to transactions and account management, providing timely and professional responses.
- Prepare and distribute regular reports on transaction activities, account statuses, and other relevant metrics to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Assist in the administration of Direct Properties and other off-market investments such as Reinsurance agreements.
- Perform cash and scrip reconciliation clearance.
- Support the administration of listed derivatives.
- Participate in change initiatives and projects.
- Provide transition support for new processes and systems.
- Translate business requirements into workable processes and control.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
- Deliver on service level agreements to ensure client expectations are managed.
- Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within area of responsibility.
