Project Accountant

• Manage the full accounting function, including general ledger, journals, and reconciliations
• Oversee project accounting, including budgeting, cost tracking, revenue recognition, and variance analysis
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Ensure accurate VAT, tax, and statutory submissions
• Assist with annual audits and liaise with external auditors
• Monitor cash flow and support working capital management

Education:

BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an accounting role
• Experience with in an engineering, industrial, or project-based environment is essential
• Proven exposure to project accounting and cost control
• Experience working on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly advantageous

• Strong understanding of financial reporting and project costing
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
