Tax Accountant

Overview

Korridor is seeking a skilled Tax Accountant to join our Tax team on a fixed term basis.

The purpose of the role will be to ensure tax compliance and accurate tax accounting for multinational group entities, with support of in-country consultants.

• Clear tax compliance backlogs, including submission and amendment of historical income tax returns across multiple jurisdictions
• Manage tax audits, authority queries, voluntary disclosures and tax refund processes end-to-end
• Coordinate and oversee in-country tax consultants, reviewing outputs, identifying risks and driving resolutions
• Support transfer pricing compliance, including rollout of TP documentation and assessment of cross-border transactions
• Obtain withholding tax treaty rate approvals and review tax-related agreements
• Perform tax accounting, including current and deferred tax calculations and accuracy of tax balances
• Maintain group tax tracking schedules and provide regular status reporting to management and stakeholders
• Partner with the wider finance team on tax queries, regulatory changes and ad hoc projects

• 5 years post articles experience in tax, in a Multinational Group, or accounting and tax practice
• SAIT, SAIPA, ACCA, SAIBA, AGA(SA), CA (SA), or equivalent
• Completed articles, preferably in tax practice
• BCom, Postgraduate in tax

• Advanced MS Excel skills
