Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for assigned projects from initial planning through to final completion
• Break down project scopes into structured, manageable work packages to support efficient execution
• Review and approve design documentation prior to construction to ensure technical accuracy and readiness
• Conduct regular site inspections confirm compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain alignment and ensure ongoing satisfaction
• Lead, mentor, and support project managers and technical teams to achieve project objectives
• Drive continuous improvement of systems and processes to enhance delivery efficiency and performance
• Ensure accurate invoicing, reporting, and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Represent the organisation as a technical point of contact during client meetings and project discussions

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in industrial project engineering or a related sector
• Demonstrated track record in managing project execution and leading engineering teams
• Strong leadership capability with sound decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Practical, hands‑on knowledge of the full project lifecycle, including procurement, design, and construction phases

• B-Tech or
  
  B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering (essential)
• Category C Designer certification (essential)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and MS Projects
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
