Quantity Surveyor; PV Solar Plant Project

Introduction

CSG Resourcing is urgently looking for a meticulous and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a landmark PV Solar Plant project. This role requires an immediate start.

Key Details:

• Start Date: Immediate
• Location: Lethabo Power Station
• Contract Period: 1 Year

esponsibilities:

• Administer all NEC commercial and contractual matters.
• Prepare and manage interim and final payment applications.
• Oversee project cost control and forecasting.
• Evaluate subcontractor claims and variations accurately.
• Maintain auditable and precise records of quantities.
• Assist in risk identification and proactive dispute avoidance.

Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
• Experience: 5-8 years’ experience in complex construction or EPC projects.
• Sector Knowledge: Verifiable experience on projects with Eskom or other major utilities, along with involvement in solar projects.
• Contracts: Practical, in-depth knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 Contracts.
• Regulatory: A thorough understanding of South African Construction Regulations.
