Electrical Technology Engineer

Our client has an opportunity available for an Electrical Technology Engineer.

Requirements:

• Eng, BSC (Eng) or B Tech degree in Technology Electrical Engineering or Electrical trade with National-N-Diploma.
• Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa would be advantageous.
• Registered as an Installation Electrician.
• Matric
• Code B driver’s license.
• 10 to 15 years’ experience in Design and Maintenance of Electrical systems, Emergency Power systems, Uninterruptable Power systems, Solar and Hybrid systems.

KPAs:

• Lead, implement and manage the technology strategy through the development of an operational and leadership plan which is in line with the business tactical plan.
• Review and development of all Engineering asset care assessment audit sheets with related implementation initiatives.
• Approval of high-level designs, specifications, new technology implementation, Factory Acceptance Testing, undertake or assist with first and final handover of projects.
• Incident investigation, problem solving and technical support writing skills.
• Engineering Asset Life Cycle Management.
• Develop and maintain asset maintenance strategies.
