About the Role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong machine design experience to develop innovative mechanical systems and custom-built equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical assemblies from first principles, performing engineering analyses, and supporting the manufacturing and commissioning process.

Key Responsibilities

• Design mechanical machines and assemblies from concept to detailed design.
  - Develop 3D models, assemblies, and production drawings using CAD software.
  - Perform mechanical calculations including stress, fatigue, and tolerance analysis.
  - Select and integrate mechanical components such as motors, drives, gear systems, bearings, and actuators.
  - Collaborate with electrical and control engineers for system integration.
  - Support prototype development, testing, and refinement.
  - Prepare manufacturing documentation and oversee build processes.
  - Ensure designs consider maintainability, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng/BSc).
  - Minimum of 4–7 years’ experience in machine design or equipment development.
  - Strong first-principles mechanical design capability.
  - Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Inventor, Solid Works, or similar).
  
  - Experience with FEA and mechanical simulation tools advantageous.
  - Sound understanding of materials, fits and tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
  - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  - Ability to manage projects from concept through to implementation.
