Are you an honest, dedicated, hardworking, enthusiastic, agile, safety-aware, and results-driven professional? An exciting opportunity exists for a Lead Process Engineer based in Centurion, with regular travel to mining sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process plant design
- Project management (design & construction)
- Scoping to feasibility studies
- Overseeing metallurgical test work and development programmes
- Technical project execution
- On-site data collection for process optimisation
- Implementing quality improvement initiatives
- Overseeing new technology implementation and supporting operations
- Delivering technical reports
Minimum Requirements:
- BSc/BEng in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
- Project management qualification/certificate
- 10 years’ experience in mineral process plant design (Chrome beneficiation & PGM flotation circuits)
- Proven experience in feasibility project management
- Strong metallurgical fundamentals, problem-solving and analytical skills, project execution mindset, risk-based decision making, technical communication, stakeholder management
