Job Summary Generation of drawings and filing for projects in infrastructural services mainly water supply and wastewater.

• Liaise with the design engineer to obtain clear specifications
• Support the design department and project managers with necessary drawings from concept to handover
• Generation of drawings on projects in infrastructural services mainly water supply and wastewater to meet projects objectives
• Incumbent may also be required to assist in the same role to projects involving roads and storm water disciplines
• Incumbent to be able to work in a team
• Must be able to communicate with all team members, service providers to communicate ideas, troubleshoot and propose solutions
• Provide guidance to all staff on how filing system works
• Perform ad-hoc office duties as assigned by the Lead Engineer

  B. Tech, B/ in Civil Engineering or similar advantageous
• Minimum of 5+ years civil inspection from which must be marine civils experience in major construction industries.
• Experience with designing of WTP, Water Retaining Pump stations, Resevoirs and Pipeline.
• Basic knowledge of Employee Equity Act, Labour Relations Act, OHS Act, some understanding of design compliance standards.
• Occasional inter-provincial site visits
• Valid Driver’s license
• Salary:

• Software Capabilities: AEC Collection – Plant 3D, Civil 3D, Infraworks, Civil designer, Micro Station
• Technical Ability & knowledge in reading, developing & applying 3D Models, P&IDs, PFDs & CFDs
• Diversified Engineering knowledge in the disciplines of Civil and Mechanical interfacing with Structural engineering.
