The Role:

Senior Industrial Engineering Consultant
This role is designed for a problem-solver who thrives on complexity and can deliver tailored technical solutions across the mining and capital-intensive sectors. Youll engage in high-impact consulting projects, using advanced IE toolkits such as simulation modelling, business case evaluation, and systems analysis. Youll operate within a multi-disciplinary team and work closely with clients to guide decision-making and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Bring 5+ years of experience in mining-related projects and 2+ years in a consulting environment
• Execute and deliver project outputs in collaboration with the Principal Industrial Engineer
• Lead client engagements and workshops with professionalism and clear communication
• Develop and implement custom solutions using existing technical models and templates
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams (mining, geology, metallurgy, project management)
• Travel to client sites locally and internationally as needed
• Prepare client-ready reports and ensure alignment with deliverables

About You

• BEng or BTech in Industrial and Systems Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in mining projects
• Minimum 2 years in a consulting services environment
• Proficient in at least one of the following: simulation modelling, financial modelling, operational readiness, mineral asset valuations, market-to-mine planning, contractor evaluation, or similar
• Solid understanding of the mining value chain and capital project lifecycle
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional Engineering registration is advantageous but not required
• Willingness to travel periodically (local and international)
• Solutions-driven mindset with maturity, humility, and professionalism
