We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Applications Engineer to join our growing team based in Centurion. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual who is passionate about engineering and technology, and who brings proven leadership experience to the table.
In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our customers with the Solid Works product portfolio, focusing on pre-sales, post-sales, onboarding, and technical support. You will also take on a leadership role within the technical/operations department, guiding and supporting a team of engineers to deliver excellent service and innovative solutions.

• Provide expert-level technical support to customers, troubleshooting and resolving complex Solid Works-related issues.
• Lead pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations and consultations to understand customer needs.
• Design and deliver training programs for new users, ensuring a smooth and effective onboarding experience.
• Collaborate with the sales team to recommend tailored Solid Works solutions based on customer requirements.
• Stay current with the latest Solid Works features and certifications through continuous learning.
• Mentor and lead a technical team, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative work environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field; or a Diploma in Engineering with relevant industry experience.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience

• Must have prior experience in a managerial or team lead role within a technical environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of Solid Works and related applications.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
