Position: Occupational Health and Safety Officer (OHS Officer)
Techbridge Recruitment is partnering with a well-established national organization within the automotive parts, warehousing, and logistics industry to appoint an experienced Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Officer.

This role is suited to a hands-on, detail-driven safety professional who is confident operating in busy warehouse and distribution environments, ensuring full compliance with the OHS Act while promoting a strong safety culture across operations.

Key Requirements

Matric (Grade 12)
SAMTRAC certification (essential)
Solid working knowledge of the OHS Act No. 85 of 1993 and relevant regulations
Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety inspections
Exposure to warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environments
Good understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 standards
Ability to conduct and document emergency drills and safety training
Strong administrative and reporting skills with high attention to detail
Confident communicator able to deal with non-compliance and difficult situations
Willingness to work weekends and adapt to operational requirements
Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods in warehouse environments
