Junior Graphic Designer
Role overview
We're looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to support international marketing and brand execution across Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, and ANZ (Australia & New Zealand). The core purpose of this role is to ensure localisation and regional execution is feasible, consistent, and high-quality; adapting creative assets so they feel native to each market while staying true to global brand standards.
You'll work closely with regional stakeholders to deliver day-to-day design support, asset versioning, and localisation-ready files. This role reports to the Brand & Creative Specialist.

- Regional teams can launch campaigns confidently with on-brand, localisation-ready creative.
- Designs are built to scale across markets with efficient versioning, templates, and file hygiene.
- Localised assets respect language expansion, cultural nuance, accessibility, and channel requirements.
- Stakeholders receive timely, well-organised, correctly formatted files for publishing.

- Adapt existing campaign creative for Germany, Netherlands, UK, and ANZ across key channels (paid social, display, web, email, in-product, retail/print if applicable).
- Prepare designs that support localisation needs, including Text expansion and contraction (e.g., German typically expands)
- Clear hierarchy that survives translation
- Layout alternatives when copy length or legal lines change
- Correct regional formats (currency, date formats, spelling variants, etc.)
- Support the creation and maintenance of localisation templates (e.g., master files with region-specific layers, components, and safe zones).
- Ensure assets are export-ready and delivered in the right specs for each channel/platform.

Localisation & regional execution (primary focus)
Design production & brand consistency
- Produce high-quality design outputs aligned to brand guidelines: typography, layout, imagery, and tone.
- Apply and uphold brand rules across regions while accommodating local needs (within approved flexibility).
- Help keep brand asset libraries organised: templates, components, icons, images, and reference files.
Workflow, versioning & stakeholder support
- Manage multiple versions of creative efficiently (e.g., DE/NL/UK/ANZ variants, multiple sizes, multiple offers).
- Maintain strong file hygiene: naming conventions, folder structure, editable source files, export packs.
- Take briefs, clarify requirements early, and deliver work to timelines with clear communication.
- Incorporate feedback quickly and accurately, maintaining a positive, solutions-oriented approach.
- Paid social assets (static + light animation/motion if applicable)
- Display banners and digital ads
- Email/CRM visual modules (headers, tiles, simple layouts)
- Web banners / landing page visual elements
- Presentations and internal decks
- Simple print/POS assets (where relevant)

- Regional stakeholders trust you to handle localised adaptations independently with minimal rework.
- You improve speed and consistency through reusable templates and smart versioning practices.
- Your files are clean, easy to navigate, and ready for handoff (correct specs, exports, and source files).
- Creative quality is consistently on-brand across all markets and channels.
Required skills & experience
- 1–2 years of design experience ( freelance, or in-house/agency experience welcomed).
- A portfolio demonstrating strong fundamentals: layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of common design tools such as:
- Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or
- Figma (components, styles, responsive layouts)
- Ability to work with feedback, manage multiple versions, and deliver on deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort working across different markets/time zones.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- You enjoy production design and take pride in precision and polish.
- You can move quickly while staying detail-oriented.
- You're comfortable asking the right questions to protect timelines and quality.
- You're motivated by enabling regional teams and making global creative scalable.
Degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred
