Rugged SA was established in 2016 and has been the local leader in the procurement and distribution of Rugged devices. More recently, it has been the partner of choice for leading companies and organizations in South Africa. We specialize in rugged products for Mining, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics, and Agriculture, including the Telecoms industries. We supply rugged mobile devices to the consumer market through online and walk-in clients.

Rugged SA has an in-house technical division and Customer Service team that differentiates us from others as rugged device suppliers. Every day, we continue to focus on bringing the market superior products with our multitude of patents that direct and influence the rugged space.

Our offices are currently in Roodepoort and will be moving to Irene in Centurian from June 2026. The successful candidate must be willing to travel to and from our offices in Roodepoort until we move to our new offices. Responsibilities
  • Welcoming clients to our premises
  • Managing inbound calls for various departments
  • Boardroom booking management
  • Assisting the Executive personal assistant with administrative tasks
  • Assistingfront house sales with managing showroom clients experience
  • Customer attendanceaccess registerfor meetings or site visits
  • Management of client parking and access control
  • Refreshments for customers
  • Assist with general administrative tasks requested by Management
  • Front house and reception neatness &hygiene
Qualifications/Educational Experience
  • Secretarial qualification or related qualification
Skills Required for this position
  • Microsoft Email,Exceland Word (Professional)
  • Customer Centric
  • Fluent English (Professional) – Afrikaans language would be advantageous
  • Professional telephonic skills and experience
  • Candidate must be interactive and willing to work within a Team
