Who can apply?
- Unemployed youth who have not previously participated in the Yes4
Youth initiative. - Aged between 18 and 29
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must reside close to the workplace area
- Must not have a criminal record.
- Must be able to start employment on 1 May 2026.
- Highest Qualification to be Grade 12
- Qualification aligned to the position would be an advantage

Role Purpose
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for all visitors, callers, and stakeholders entering
Building
E. This role ensures a welcoming, organised, and professional front-office environment while
providing administrative support to enhance overall office operations. The Receptionist plays a critical role
in managing communication, visitor flow, and daily administrative activities.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and warmly welcome guests upon arrival.
• Direct visitors to the appropriate person or office promptly.
• Follow safety and access-control procedures, including monitoring visitor logbooks and issuing
visitor badges.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and professional reception area.
• Provide lunch and leave cover for the main reception area when required.
• Answer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls.
• Provide accurate information to staff, visitors, and callers via phone, email, or in person.
• Handle enquiries professionally, efficiently, and with excellent customer service standards.
• Sort, receive, and distribute daily mail, parcels, couriers, and deliveries.
• Order and manage front-office and stationery supplies, ensuring stock availability.
• Maintain updated office calendars.
• Assist with the management and coordination of meeting room bookings when required.
• Arrange travel bookings when requested.
• Maintain accurate records of office expenses and related administrative costs.
• Assist with filing, scanning, photocopying, and document transcription.
• Support People & Culture and other departments with general administrative tasks.
• Assist with basic office coordination and operational support as needed.
