Admin Assistant​/Data Capturer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Data Capturer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing, verifying, and maintaining accurate data on Pastel Sage, as well as assisting with reporting and stock control activities. This role requires excellent Excel skills, strong attention to detail, and good time management to ensure data integrity and smooth operational flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture and update data accurately on Pastel Sage.
• Maintain and reconcile stock records and assist with stock takes.
• Verify and cross-check data for accuracy and completeness.
• Generate and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Support the warehouse team with data-related tasks and documentation.
• Identify and report discrepancies or inconsistencies in captured data, taking initiative to resolve them or escalate appropriately.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Pastel Sage Accounting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Good proficiency in Mathematics and Statistics to validate and analyse data effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Inquisitive and proactive approach to identifying and resolving errors.
• Experience with stock take and warehouse operations in GMP
• Minimum of Grade 12 / Matric
• Diploma or Degree in a related field (e.g., Accounting, Data Management, or Statistics) will be advantageous.
