Accounts Payable Officer

Overview

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you play a vital role in ensuring that payments to suppliers are processed accurately and on time. This position contributes to trust and reliability in every transaction, supporting a high-performance culture where excellence is the standard and every detail matters.

• Process daily and monthly supplier payments accurately and on time.
• Reconcile supplier accounts and maintain accurate records to uphold the integrity of financial systems.
• Support accounts payable processes with attention to accuracy and timeliness.

• Grade 12 with Accounting and Mathematics.
• 3 years of general Accounts Payable experience.
• Proven experience with SAGE Intact and experience with accounting packages.

• Proficient use of computer technology to navigate financial systems.
• Strong communication skills to engage with colleagues and suppliers professionally.
• Numerical reasoning with the ability to perform basic calculations accurately.

In this role, your work ensures suppliers are paid accurately and on time, supporting the smooth operation of the business. You will contribute to maintaining relationships and the company’s image as a reliable partner by processing payments, reconciling accounts, and keeping precise records.
