Position Overview

ISO Workforce Alliance is partnering with a Washington public school district to hire a Speech‑Language Pathologist to support students across elementary and secondary grade levels. This position reports to the Executive Director of Special Services and provides assessment, therapy, consultation, and multidisciplinary collaboration within a supportive Special Services department.

The district serves a diverse student population and is committed to inclusive, student-centered programming.

Compensation

$80–$90 per hour (DOE). Full‑time, school‑year contract. Competitive weekly pay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of speech, voice, hearing, and language impairments
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to meet student needs
  • Conduct evaluations, interpret results, and support eligibility determination
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team processes
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers
  • Support MTSS and SEL frameworks
  • Maintain compliance documentation (IEPs, assessment reports, progress monitoring, Medical Recovery documentation)
  • Assist with Child Find activities
  • Provide consultation and training related to communication and behavior supports
  • Stay current on federal and state special education regulations
Required Qualifications
  • Valid Washington ESA Certificate with SLP/Audiologist endorsement
  • Active CCC‑SLP
  • Knowledge of verbal and non‑verbal communication methods
  • Experience with assessment, data collection, and interpretation
  • Working knowledge of MTSS and SEL best practices
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in team‑based educational settings
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior school‑based SLP experience
  • Spanish‑speaking ability
  • Experience working with culturally diverse student populations
