Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care within the ICU, focusing on patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration. This role requires strong communication and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Develop and implement patient care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Float between like units as needed.

Required Skills &

Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.

Preferred Skills &

Certifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.

Special Considerations:

- Must be willing to work every other weekend.
- Must be willing to float between like units.
- All RTO must be sent with submittal.
- Travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility will not be eligible for a travel contract.
- Patient ratio is typically 1:2, but may adjust based on patient acuity.
