Supervisor Clinical Pharmacy - Outpatient Infusion

Overview

The Pharmacy Supervisor is a licensed pharmacist who, in coordination with the Pharmacy Manager, is responsible for overseeing the daily workflow, staffing, orientation, training, and developing of caregivers. The Pharmacy Supervisor promotes and supports a collaborative team approach in providing care and is responsible for ensuring the safe and appropriate use of medications and department operations that meet all regulatory compliance requirements.

Fulfillment of this responsibility is achieved through the provision of pharmaceutical care services whose components include drug information, drug distribution, and clinical pharmacy services with knowledge of age-specific criteria from neonates through geriatrics (where applicable). The Pharmacy Supervisor supports/manages pharmacy technologies and systems within the department in collaboration with informatics and medication safety.

A description of the ongoing responsibilities for this role includes:

• Oversee daily workflow and staffing in the pharmacy to ensure safe, effective medication use and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate orientation and training for staff and caregivers; support development initiatives.
• Provide pharmaceutical care services including drug information, drug distribution, and clinical pharmacy services; apply age-specific criteria from neonates to geriatrics where applicable.
• Manage pharmacy technologies and systems in collaboration with informatics and medication safety teams.

• Bachelor s Degree: A graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Upon hire:
  Washington Pharmacist License
• 2 years of applicable pharmacy practice

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
