Description
Performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose, IV and chemotherapeutic medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt, safe and accurate manner. Performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Sisters of Providence Mission and Philosophy.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician Level A training program certified by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy. Or equivalent educ/experience
- Upon hire:
Washington Pharmacy Technician License - Experience with telephone call prioritization.
- Experience with stressful/urgent need situations.
- 3 months Practical experience in a hospital pharmacy under the direct supervision of pharmacist.
- Experienced in IV admixture/aseptic techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year Hospital pharmacy experience.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
