**** Hourly Rate anywhere from £22.47 – £25.51*
* ** Weekday Overtime: £29.21 – £33.16 (Time and a third)*
* ** Weekend Overtime: £33.70 – £38.26 (Time and a half)

** Thornton Heath Garage**, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a fleet of London buses to ensure they stay in tip-top shape and keep our passengers safe.
As a
** Running Shift Engineer**, no two days will be the same! You’ll have the responsibility of:
* Performing
** servicing, inspections, and repairs
** to the highest standards (DVSA and Arriva standards exceed the norm!).
* Carrying out
** diagnostic fault finding
** and contributing to the
** continuous improvement
** of vehicle reliability.
* Preparing buses for
** MOTs
* * and supporting
** preventative maintenance campaigns
** to keep our fleet in peak condition.
* Working a
** 7/3/7/4 rotating shift pattern**, including both early and late shifts – giving you flexibility and balance.
We’re looking for someone who is as passionate about quality as we are! To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* ** NVQ Level 2 or higher
** in PSV, HGV maintenance (or an equivalent international qualification).
* Alternatively, at least
** 5 years’ hands-on experience
** in the repair and maintenance of PSV/HGV.
* A
** full UK driving licence** (with no more than 6 penalty points).
* A
** valid PCV/PSV licence**.
* The ability to pass a
