Oliver Bernard are working with a high-growth, consumer-facing brand that reaches millions of users globally across mobile, web and physical experiences. They’re on an ambitious digital transformation journey and are looking for a Head of Software Engineering to help take their consumer platforms to the next level.

This is a senior, hands‑on engineering leadership role where you’ll shape how world‑class digital experiences are built, scaled and shipped with a huge focus on mobile products, consumer UX and platform reliability at scale

• Own and set the engineering strategy for a large‑scale B2C digital ecosystem
• Lead engineering across mobile apps, consumer platforms, APIs and integrations
• Partner closely with Product and Design to deliver beautifully crafted, high‑performing consumer experiences
• Play a key role in a business that’s moving from scale‑up mindset to global maturity
• Build, grow and mentor an engineering leadership team in a fast‑evolving environment

• A senior engineering leader with strong B2C and consumer product experience
• Deep exposure to mobile‑first or mobile‑heavy environments
• Someone who’s been through a scale‑up journey (or multiple) and understands the trade‑offs that come with growth
• Technically credible - comfortable shaping architecture, setting standards and diving in when needed
• Experienced in modern cloud‑native engineering, CI/CD, observability and platform reliability
• Confident working in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments with product, design and commercial leaders
